I clearly preferred the 2016 by a long margin

Cillar Silos, Ribera Duero Flor Silos Vintage:2018 The 2012 Crozes Hermitage ClosThe tender and delicate 2018 Flor de Silos has an expressive and open nose, floral and aromatic. It was produced with grapes from two low yielding vineyards at 900 meters in altitude, planted in 1927 and 1930 on limestone rich soils. It fermented in 3,000 liter vats followed by malolactic and 18 months in barrel. It's ripe and voluptuous with glossy tannins and a lush texture. 5,410 bottles were filled in September 2020.
